In contrast to the rustic vibe paraded last season, Christopher Bailey unveiled the luxurious Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2013, which was full of glamour and energy striking out with the use of rhinestones palette, combination of high-end creativities and a whole range of cutting-edge new technologies, while still maintaining their tradition identity through contemporary designs

Unlike many other brands that have failed, Burberry Prorsum has always succeeded in maintaining their signature British heritage throughout the incredibly high-end collection. Precious mineral tones like green beetle, lapis lazuli, emerald, bronze and copper, quartz, and ruby, as well as super cool high-tech materials expressed such luxurious brightness of the season, while their trench coats enhanced the label’s  iconic classy style with surprising versatility.

At first, the famous trench coat brand gained a beautiful gradient of pink tones and white, then they continued almost colossally with stunning proposals in printed foil metallics including the vivid, luminous, peacock shades that surely dropped a few jaws. In the second part of the presentation, the rounded shoulders of jackets, corseted dresses, and mini-capes gave their way to short ruffled dresses and textured pencil skirts to end the whole parade beautifully and sexy.

Among the shines, hoods and small rounded-shoulder capes are the highlights of the collection, giving stylish elements to the label’s classic trench coat made of lace and metallic leather in rich colors. As for the mermaid dresses, they stood out alongside draped tops in metallic fabric paired with high-waisted pencil skirts and oversized pea coats.

Last but not least, there were also a variety of charming accessories throughout the show, which of course, also proposed in brightly hues of metallic and vivid shades, starting from the open-toe wedges in metallic python and satin pointed shoes, to the doctor’s bags made of transparent PVC in contrasting colors. All of these luxe elements also took part gracing the collection even more dramatic confirming Burberry’s glossily polished vision of English style.
