Looking absolutely fabulous and stunning – although some says it’s a bit too simple and ‘basic’ – the new advertising campaign Gucci Fall Winter 2014-2015 evokes the perfect amount of modernity mixes with elegance, emphasizing portraits that epitomize the essence of the Gucci woman – individual, strong, sensual, and glamorous. Behind the lenses of top fashion photographer Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot, the campaign features an all-star cast of Creative Director Frida Giannini’s most iconic runway models.
Number of glorious super models such as Natasha Poly, Raquel Zimmerman, Anja Rubik, Nadja Bender, Karmen Pedaru, Joan Smalls, and Suvi Koponen are the stellar cast of this campaign, as each of them lensed as an individual portrait, introduces a signature look from the Fall Winter runway, devoted to the 60s era. The campaign will make its print debut with gatefolds and impact units in key August and September issues worldwide.
Shot in the studio with muted backdrops to complement each look, all models dressed in a fur jacket with a long nap, A-line dresses, flared leather skirts and tunics, blouses with frills and high boots made of snake skin. The gorgeous models are styled by Ghanaian born editor of W magazine, Edward Enninful with hair styled by Orlando Pita.
