Featuring a range of unusual cutting-edge design in monochromatic black and white color palette, Adriana Degreas Spring Summer 2016 Swimwear runway show was unveiled on the catwalks of Sao Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW), as the designer took the “life of surfer” for the inspiration. Avant-garde swimsuits, cool ambiance, full of bold and daring cutouts, and a hell of a lot of flair, this swim collection is the real pieces of glam and athletic-luxe for the modern-day, cheeky beach, powerful women.
Covetable plenty without even revealing that much, the designer played her sport-luxe signature in a new seductive territory where the world of surfing meets a cocktail style, which is translated into black and white pieces in silky neoprene and latex fabrics, alongside its sultry cutouts and a vast range of neckline varieties of one-piece swimsuits and two-piece swim sets.
Coming up with lots of surfing-inspired elements such as surfboard keels, wet-look swimsuits, even shark fins, from halters to one-shoulders, from spaghetti straps to sleeved sporty crop-tops, from classic body suits to super daring bikinis with intricate cutouts and netting, all in all, the whole proposal of Adriana Degrea’s swim collection oozes of glamour and sex appeal, but still with sporty-luxe in feel.
