Launching in select Macy’s stores the second week of February, the American fashion designer Rachel Roy has released her first plus size collection just in time for this Spring Summer 2016 season, featuring everything from summer-y dresses to denim pieces and chic tops. As a part of Rachel Roy’s regular lower priced line, the 45-piece of this Curvy Collection – called RACHEL Rachel Roy Curvy – is priced between $55 and $179, and will also be available to shop via Rachel Roy’s own online shop in March.
Unlike many other brands that often make completely separate collections for larger sizes, these size 14 to 24 offerings are filled with the same pieces as the regular size range, the same bold colors, prints, and silhouettes just how everyone has come to expect from the Rachel Rachel Roy line. With that in mind, the label kept its designs across the board, only adding a few subtle differences throughout. (E.g., a jumpsuit from the line maintains the original silhouette, but has straps, rather than being strapless)
As for her first collection’s campaign, it’s even much more fabulous as the campaign shows the always gorgeous plus size model, Candice Huffine for a series of striking studio portraits as she flaunts in lines of chic bohemian and casual pieces.
